"I Feel A Miracle Coming" | Pastor Anthony Mincey

May 20, 2025

For twelve years, a woman endured a continuous bleeding condition that left her physically, financially, and socially devastated. After exhausting all medical options and spending everything she had, her condition only worsened. Yet, she maintained hope and demonstrated remarkable faith by believing that touching just the fringe of Jesus' garment would bring healing. Despite religious and cultural restrictions that should have kept her isolated, she pressed through the crowds in her weakened state to reach Jesus. Her faith was not passive but active and determined. When she touched His garment, she was instantly healed. The significance of her choosing to touch the garment's fringe, which represented God's commandments, showed her deep understanding that healing power was contained within God's promises. Jesus' response to her act of faith was equally meaningful. He stopped, acknowledged her publicly, restored her to community by calling her daughter, and confirmed that her faith had made her whole. This account teaches vital lessons about maintaining faith despite worsening circumstances, seeking divine solutions when human wisdom fails, and positioning ourselves for miracles through active, determined faith.
