"Once Saved Always Saved" Part 2 | Pastor Anthony Mincey
The concept of eternal security in salvation must be properly understood as a covenant relationship that requires active participation from believers. While God's saving grace is permanent, genuine salvation manifests through continued alignment with His Word and purposeful resistance to sin. Like a marriage, it's not just about the initial commitment but about daily choosing to walk in faithfulness.True believers are called to live transformed lives, demonstrating their salvation through practical choices and actions. This includes staying on the narrow path Jesus described, maintaining humility before God, and actively resisting temptation. Romans 6 teaches that believers are dead to sin and raised to new life in Christ, making it impossible to genuinely continue in willful sin while claiming salvation. This understanding calls for regular self-examination and renewed commitment to walking in the Spirit.
